The first story I ever wrote was about two frogs. It was two pages long and I was about 6 years old. After that, I began writing stories more regularly. When I was about 8 I began writing poetry after being inspired by the poems my great-grandmother wrote for me. I wrote my first novel when I was about 12 and my love for writing blossomed. 

Although I always loved writing, I wasn't yet sure if I could make it into a career. I had heard about how hard it was, especially now, so I chose a different career path. After a gap year I started a mechanical engineering degree. I liked it, but it always felt like something was missing. After the first year, I switched to a BA in Creative Writing and truly committed to a career involving words. 

I've started this blog to share my writing journey as well as give you all the tips and tricks I have learnt along the way (as well as the mistakes I have made, so you don't have to). My ultimate goal is to make enough money from my writing to buy a castle and run fantasy events from it. I plan on hosting fantasy themed balls, Ren faires and whatever else the book world longs to see!
